This piece was recorded on site in the Project Dressing Rooms.  The piece aimed to focus the viewer’s attention on the written word on which the play was based. The recordings stress the ability and inability of the performers to enact their roles.  The piece removed the visual element of the production and replaced it with a still image with the quiet apt text “Space, Vox Pop, Override”.

The recorded performance piece represented a rehearsal of the production Bildungsroman.  The recordings show a moderate progression and development in the amateur actors depictions, mirroring back to the original concept of the work.  The rehearsal was played out numerous times and spontaneity became a very important factor.  I see this piece as a recording of a spontaneous artwork; therefore it was left in its raw state.
